It was a great turnout. But dadgum cold out too.

I have to give a thumbs up to the Quaker Steak and Lube venue change and the folks that made that happen. Lacking, as it was, certain anatomic visual benefits, I still think it proved to be a better venue than Hooters has been for the last few years. The food at QS&L is excellent...an interesting menu they have.

Great day! Great turnout - actually about the best turnout we've had in several years despite the extreme cold. We left Manassas with the temp about 18 degrees and with my soft top and drafty soft doors we could see our breath the entire 90 mile drive! (With the heater on full blast.) We caravanned with Pearlcoat and got there about 10:40 and 3 Broncos were already there. We had a total of 24 Broncos and probably 50 to 60 people in attendance. Quaker Steak was fantastic - good food, good service and they bent over backwards to accomodate us. This really was an upgrade from previous years. The restaurant kept their side room mainly for us and we pretty much filled it up. They also had an enclosed patio bar with an outdoor heater which they let us use.

Good to see lots of familiar faces and also quite a few new faces and new Broncos. We had a couple of FSB's come up from Tidewater plus a really built FSB who was local to Richmond. 44 Boggers with Dynatec 60's - the front was a custom leaf set up. See pic!

Sorry that some of you who had wanted to come couldn't make it - always next year! ;D

It was great to see everyone again. Quaker Stake did a nice job and they checked on us several times to make sure we were being taken care of. It was also great to keep warm without getting kicked out.

Thank you Gary and Judy!!!

Man, I have the worst timing. .. I used to live in Highland Creek subdivision from 2006-2008 about 2 miles from there, and NOW there are EB gatherings... sucks..

LOL...
I asked my son a few times if he wanted another picture and he said no. He was having to much fun running around and playing games at Quaker Stake. Maybe next year.

Had a great time and it was nice to see everyone. Will had a basketball game so Donna and the kids couldn't make the trip. And although she was very plesant to talk to I was NOT there with the blonde! She was just a Bronco owner from Williamsburg. So everyone (Brian) can delete their blackmail pictures. :)

Ben, LOL! I guess she grabbed on to you guys because she was there by herself. My wife ended up talking to her for a while. Seemed nice and she actually does have a Bronco!

Is that Gershoms old truck in post #40? He was a great guy, and a loss to the Bronco community. If its not his truck, well I still say the same thing! :)

Good eye! Yes, that is Gershom's old truck. Bought last year by another MEB member (Travis and his dad Barry, but not sure if either is on CB). They're planning on 4-linking the rear. Also see the 5th pic in post #44.

ah rear steer...yeah isnt the pinion a lil offset and he kept breaking u-joints? I seem to remember that from Tellico years ago.

Or the time he ran out of gas on the rock challenge in Paragon! THAT was a riot! ;D

sorry for the hi-jack, he was just a really good S$#t that died WAY too early!
