once I get all this stuff welded up it should be just a matter of bolting things back together and before you know it she'll be back on the road....right??:?

thanks for the compliments!

so I made sure I had the riser where I wanted it one last time and put a couple of tack welds to keep it in place. then I unbolted everything and pulled the axle back out and put it up on the stand. cut the rest of the old track bar stud off and finished welding the riser to the axle. I also added a side brace to it.
now I can clean it up, paint it and start the reassembly.:)

Looking good Migs! Nice work on the trac bar riser that you built! Nice to see it in a double shear configuration. Looks like it will be nice and solid! Keep at it! ;D

Thanks Rob

a little more work done... pulled the old leaky radiator out, along with some other items. now there's nothing really left connecting the engine to the Bronco... so thinking I just might pull it out too.

well what time does the engine hoist rental store open?
otherwise will have to turn the Bronco around and push the front half outside as my tractor don't fit in the garage...

welded the ends on the dom tubing for the steering and track bar, hope my measurements were right...:-X
also milled a touch off the top of the drivers side knuckle arm to make room for the tie rod dust boot. getting the stud to the right depth did not leave much room at all in between them. nice thing about the F150 knuckles is they are bigger and thicker than the Bronco knuckles so no worries in doing it.

Mine's available. No need to rent one. Oh BTW, I'm sure you have enough adjustment left to make up for the 2 or 3 thousandths your measurements might be off..........;D

I have one as well and I believe that it might actually still be at Dave's since it is much easier to store there than here...;D

I have an engine stand as well taking up space in my shed.
