Mistakes

Mistake #1, Parking lawn mower in shop w Broncos.
Lawn mower caught on fire burned down shop w 3 Broncos , 11 doors, 3 tops etc....
Mistake #2, fast forward 10 years, quit grieving and bought a Bronco off of E-bay 1000 miles away because it was a good deal.
Mistake # 3 , Finding out the Bronco was wrecked and buying it anyway,
Mistake #4, Buying the wrecked Bronco that someone had "patched up" to sell and telling myself I could live w it like that.
So, long story short, I had a blast going to CO via Moab, camping, trout catching and riding MB's in Moab. Even bummed a ride in a sweet rock buggy on Hell's Revenge! Strapped the bike on back and wheeled for 2 hours and I have been having a ball working on this "Little Jewel". Since it has been wrecked and poorly /partially/half-a**ed, put back together , I have had no qualms about cutting , welding, bobbing, stretching, and soon, hopefully, wheeling the heck out of this rig and am quite pleased w everything so far, except the core support. It is warped, bent and all jacked up. The guy actually bent the body mount back to make it fit! Somehow the grill and fenders bolted up and looked pretty decent, but I can't live w it. I'm going to cut all his junk off at the tub and build it back right. So here is my question, Who makes the best core support? I read several posts around about ones that need modifying to fit proper. For those prices they should be "right"!
Thanks

Post some pictures of it. Also if it is the driver side body mount on the frame. It is bent back from the factory to clear the steering box. Just remember anything can be fixed on a bronco. I almost built mine from scratch.

If your talking the body mount on the drivers side in front of the steering box, that one looks bent compared to the others on the frame. It is also welded and the rest are riveted. Just in case your referring to that one.

If you're cutting, bobbing, pinching, boat-siding, etc, why not just fabricate a tubular front core support? The sheet metal is one of the more limiting things, especially the further you stray from the "stock" path. Crab had a nice one on the trail rig he sold...should be a thread on it around here somewhere.

Thanks guys, I'll put up a few pics, I didn't know the drivers mount came like that! L.O.L. It's been a while since I looked hard , at a nice straight Bronco. Here in LA , it's like feast and famine on EB's, When I didn't have the cash they were everywhere, then I couldn't find one close buy, that I liked and was priced right. Shortly after my purchase some nice rigs showed up again. But I am having fun. Kinda hate to see my build winding down, still have a ways to go though.
I am interested in that tubular support. I built a square tube one, back in 90 something , that bolted to the tub and you could remove the whole front clip, to work on the engine. It was HEAVY though.
