when you put your blinker on, is it supposed to blink? My left and right turn signals are solid, both in the gauge and front / rear lights. When I put my flashers on, they blink.

Also, with flashers on and right turn signal, the left side flashes and right side is steady. But with flashers on and left signal, the right flashes and the left doesn't work? (both front and rear).

Then, while messing with just turn and light switches, my radio (which hasn't been working) turned on and works fine.

Also, when I press the brakes, the rear left tail light doesn't work (but obviously isn't the light)... and I have no reverse lights. UGH!

Oh yeah... my fuel gauge works fine, but my oil pressure and water temp (brand new sending unit from Tom's) don't work. The temp never goes above 130 and the oil just sits between 10 - 40 and never moves! I'm assuming since the fuel works, the the voltage regulator is ok...

Any ideas on anything??

The turn signal problem sounds like a flasher relay problem. The emergency flasher uses a different flasher but the same wires and bulbs so you know those parts are good.

Check all of your grounds of course and also check your turn signal flashers under the dash. Try a new one or switch out the two under the dash and see if there is a difference. As far as the sending units sometimes they are bad out of the box or it may be time for after market gauges

thanks! I'm not sure why all the new issues, I haven't done any electrical work recently. I'm assuming that, if operating correctly, the turn signals are supposed to flash and not be steady, correct?

Had most of the same issues with mine. Took it to an automotive electric shop that a friend of mine owns. He said to buy a turn signal switch. On all old fords the power for all lights goes thru this switch. I changed mine and all intermittent light issue were gone. Not sure about your gauges. They are about $40.00

Yeah, the turn signal switches are a sore spot with old EB's that's for sure. But I agree with the others that the basic not-flashing issue sounds like a dead relay/flasher unit.
The left side steady with the brake issue sounds like either a turn signal switch issue, or a bad ground issue. Even though the lights work under other circumstances.

At least it's easy and free to test the flasher relays though. Like mentioned, find both the hazard and turn relays under the dash and swap them. You may have one Blue one and one Gray one, or one aluminum one and one plastic, but both should (if I remember correctly) be able to plug into the other's socket.
If after doing that the hazards no longer work and the turn signals do, then you know you've found your issue.

What year is your EB again?
Automatic or manual?
The backup lamps would be a completely different issue, and could be a switch, a wire, a connector, or the bulbs. Check 'em all.

I'm voting bad grounds at the lights for 80% of the problems.

My favorite word of advice is rewire it ;D. I got really tired of finding shorts and messing with fixing PO screw ups so i spent the $500 on a new harness. Only issue i have now is the cheap connectors in the speedo.
