I decided to give the sheetmetal work a break the past couple of days and work on some of the mechanical things. I took the t shift transfer case from my 72 and cleaned it up and then took the j shift transfer case off my 76 c4 and cleaned up the c4 and related parts. Then I pulled the big bearing rear from my 76 and tore it down to sandblast and rebuild, the thing had alot of water in it. Tomorrow I will pull the posi from my 72 for in the 76 housing and may even get some sandblasting done. My son has finally regained some interest in helping me with it and helped all day today. I have 2 running 302's 1-76 the other 72, I,m probably going to use the 76 with the 72 heads. I was pulling some of the front dress parts off the 72 and broke 3 of the water pump bolts off so that kind of turned me off to it right away, The 76 came apart with no trouble. No pics again, just an update of the progress. This really becomes alot of work that most people don't realize, when your leaving no bolt unturned.
