Now that it is looking like a Bronco again has your son regained any interest in helping work on it?

No, he started to show some but then lost it. He says that when there's paint on the frame he'll have some, ya right, I would be wanting to learn all this fabrication.%)

I'm sure when you are all done he is going to be the first to ask to give it a spin :).

X2. The interest level from these kids these days seems to come and go a lot. My son got double-extra interested the minute his drivers license became valid. Now I can't keep him off the build when he's here. Once its close to drivable the interest will come back.
PM me on that torsion bar. I can't take full credit for the basic design but I can sure share some things I wouldn't do again.

Today sort of went like yesterday, I set out to get the v8 mounts tacked onto the frame and as I was fitting them I decided that just like all other aftermarket stuff, I don't like the fit or how far off they are. Soooo outside I go again and cut some originals off the parts bronco. After getting them cleaned up a bit, covered with grease and undercoating, They fit great and I got them tacked in place. Also got the old front shock towers cut off the frame. It was a short day today cause I went shopping with the wife. The second pic is the aftermarket v8 mounts I did not use and are now for sale if anyone needs them.

I'm not sure who is making those things but My Brother got his from JBG and they didn't fit well either. I finally got them on and they worked ok but they don't fit like the factory ones do.

although not quite Herman speed, you have done alot of work in little time on yours and you could use a break too! lol! ;D
