Anything you need to sell that helps you keep your project going- all the better! I can't believe you actually got it back after all this time. It's got to be bittersweet, but I hope it helps to have the closure.

congrats! If you're in need of something to help you get it going, post it. I may not have it but somebody might. Happy Thanksgiving all!

That guy may not be the one who stole but if you can get Rummy to do the torture I'll be the guy squeals pretty loud.

Here's some pics of what she looks like now.
ResizeofPB240026.jpg

Notice the chrome thingy on top of the tailgate.
ResizeofPB240043.jpg

My 289 emblems disappeared sometime after the new paint job.
ResizeofPB240040.jpg

As did the hardtop.
ResizeofPB240036.jpg

I now have a nice hole in my hood.
ResizeofPB240028.jpg

Spaghetti under the dash.
ResizeofPB240027.jpg

Armrest was yanked without the use of a tool.
ResizeofPB240023.jpg

Overspray from painting the rollbar.
ResizeofPB240046.jpg

It even got some detail painting with a brush of course and since the lenses went missing he brushed orange on the bulbs.
ResizeofPB240041.jpg

This is causing me some serious grief. Where the hell is my vin tag?
ResizeofPB240030.jpg

They even removed the vin tag from the dash. Nibbled at it with pliers and cracked the heck out of my dashpad.
ResizeofPB240048.jpg

Nice treatment to the frame horns when taking off the bumper.
ResizeofPB240034.jpg

Lots of my wires under the hood are hacked or gone altogether. Someone decided that original painted valve colors were not the right shade of blue, get out the brush! Oh, that's not my Holly TA.
cables-installed.jpg

Before (notice the new 1G alternator).

After.

I'll end on a good note. Here she is sitting between friends.

All in All after 2 years, it doesn't look all that bad.

I had a car stolen once, and when it was recovered a day or two later, it had Much, Much more damage than yours. Well they drove it through a building, in a smash and grab.

so do you have enough with the new parts to put it back to where you need it? it's almost like someone knew your truck and took off what they wanted for their own...

Its sounded like it was a total reck by the way you described it before. Its not to bad...but nothing like having it back. Congradulations. By the way that is a 1979-1982 Ford Mustang factory hoodscoop. Good find, bad sheetmetal work.

Glad you got her back! Even with everything missing.
One thing that bothers me about it is that everything missing could be on another Bronco and you would never know, Almost like someone knew what they wanted then just used it to play with until it was found and returned to you.
Did they also grind the VIN from the frame?

No kidding about the blood boiling! Some people. I just don't get it. How can you do something like that and not care? Oh well. In the end they all get what they've been dishing out I guess...I mean...I hope.

i totally agree with this comment. i'd say those parts are still in the pnw on another ride right now. glad you got your baby back. i could be in much worse shape.

Regarding knowing your truck and taking what they wanted.

Looking at the pictures and reading the commentary , I thought exactly the same thing.
Happy to hear you got her back. Time to start making some new memories with her in one form or another.
