It's a go. Please let me know who is going for sure so that I can let Dan know.

The Bronco Connection " connection" is officially Saturday October 13th. Depending on how far you have to drive, I would say noon is a good time to shoot for.

You can count on me! I have meet three other Bronco owners here in Lincoln, two of them don't have or use computers and a newbie who has'nt signed up here at CB.com. yet. I will contact them this week and let them know, and pass on their intentions for attending.

Looking forward to the meet.

It looks like I will be driving my Bronco, up to Omaha in a few minute. To attend the Coffee and Cruise show and shine. Happening at the 156th & Maple Hyvee store. The show runs from 5-8 pm. Sorry for the short notice. I had to work overtime today and it was raining earlier. So I though it would be a wash.

I wish I had my Bronco! Have not driven a Bronco for almost 2 1/2 years!

Hi Marty, how is your tub rebuild at the Connection going?

Had a great time at the Coffee & Cruise. There were two other Broncos at the show as well. I'll post up some pictures tomorrow when I can get to my laptop.

Here is some Bronco pictures from the Coffee and Cruise show, in Omaha yesterday. Ron (the owner of the red 66) and I were to late in arriving to get into the official show area, due to space constants. However we were close enough to draw plenty of attention to our rigs.;D There were 3 Bronco in attendance. Fred's red 77 half cab and Ron's 66 U15, both from Omaha. And my 76 Special Decor from Lincoln. The show had an attendance of over 200 within the allocated parking. And many more outside the show area as we were. It was a great show with great weather and lot of folks enjoying the nice afternoon.:cool:

This was the first time I meet Ron and his 66. He uses it as a daily driver. It has been upgraded to a mustang 5.0 EFI. The truck is very solid body wise so it is a great candidate for a full restoration. Looking forward to seeing his progress. I meet Fred and his very nice stock 77 a couple years ago, at a meet and greet at the Bronco Connection. He is also a CB.com member. Sure was nice spending time talking Bronco with these guy. I hope to see them again soon.

Enjoy the pictures.

Fred

P.S. Yep my name is Fred too. And I added a picture of a Super Sonic Blue Corvette. This may be the color of my Bronco in the future. Of coarse with a white or black special decor stripe. Stripe color to be determined. What do you think?

Hi Fred, Thanks for posting the pics, it looked like a lot of fun. As far as the color, go for it :)

Marty, How's your bronco coming along? Long time no see.

Hope all is well for both of you.

Hope to have it back soon. Last I heard it was being finish blocked and next in the paint booth. It will be Vermillion Red with argent grill. Also new 400+ HP 351w and a new NV3550 5 speed! Of course a full cage attached to the frame for safety!

Let me know when the next get together is around August-September!

I've been toying with the idea of having a gathering in early to mid October. And hosting it in Goehner NE. Goehner is 30 mile west of Lincoln and a 1 mile north off of I80. Goehners is not know for it four wheeling opportunities or for anything else other than my other hobby, Live Steam Railroading.

www.the-chippewa.org

Our facility has plenty of room for a Bronco gathering and there's other things of interest to entertain the spouses and children of all ages. We are a Live Steam model railroad club, featuring 1" to the foot scale. Ride on coal fired steam locomotives and full length trains. We give free train rides to the public on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, May through November. The railroad club is located on the grounds of the Seward County Historical Society Museum. So there are several buildings of Historical and antique collections. Also including a full restored early 1900 school house and historical farm house. The museum is free to the public as well.

During October we run trains on every Sunday. The first weekend (Oct. 3-5th) is our fall meet. Where we host visiting Live Steam enthusiasts at our track for a 3 day run starting on Friday. To top off the fall meet. The historical society hosts an annual car show that Sunday the 5th. The place is pretty busy on that weekend so I thought it would be best to pick a different Sunday for a Bronco meet. Unless anyone is interested in entering the car show. October 12 and 26 are the next to dates when the museum would be open for visitors.

So let me know what you think. If there's enough interest in having a Bronco meet and greet in October. And If Goehner would work for the meet. I can make it happen.

Fred

P.S. Here's a picture or two of my Great Northern Railroad, Class O-8 Mikado locomotive. Unfortunately it will not be at the meet and greet. I have it disassembled for a complete overhaul and it's not likely to be finished until next summer.

Fred,
I'll have to check the calendar for Saturday. I do like the idea of something in Oct. Those trains look pretty cool. It was good seeing you at Hy-Vee. Thanks for posting the pictures. -Fred from Omaha
