So I have a '68 redone by Dan Jones at Bronco Connection (story I'd rather not get into) that we picked up in March. I've already had to get new tires and wheels (didn't have to do the wheels but figured it was a good excuse) because the ones he put on were too big and rubbed the front of my rear fenders since it's uncut. What was on it was a set of 265/70R17 BFG A/T KOs.
Now, after it rained a little and I've had to drive through some mud, I've gotten stuck twice since I put some 235/70R16 Hankook HTs on.
I'd like to know what you guys would put under an uncut with a 1" body and 2.5" lift. Looking for something that has some tread to it but is still mostly going to be used on pavement. I'm thinking about going to plain steel wheels (hubcaps if i want them), but I can't find any definite source on what width "stock" wheels were.
Thanks for any suggestions
Pic is what I'm running right now
