I'm putting my front axle back together and I can't remember where in the order of assembly does the splash shield go??? Between the knuckle and inner hub? Inner hub and caliper mount???? or between the caliper mount and rotor??? I need to get this done ASAP because I need my chassis in a roller so we can put the body back on tomorrow morning!!!

Thanks in advance for the help!!!!!!!!!!

Outside in. Spindle goes thru caliper mount, splash shield and then into knuckle. It is sandwiched between them. Clean up, file parts so they will come apart easier next time. Mine were a huge PITA.
At work, this is from memory. Good luck

So as I'm putting it together the inner spindle goes first then the splash shield and then the caliper mount???

No, he said outside in. Install the splash shield first, the caliper bracket second, and the spindle last.
