LA Need parts for 78/79 Bronco

I need a usable tailgate and a half cab conversion kit for a 79 Bronco. Will pick up if in a few hrs drive or will pay shipping.

Do you have a tailgate at all? even a crappy rusted one? I've learned that all tailgate shells from 78-96 will interchange. The differences are in the glass, latches, harness, etc.

It did not have a tailgate when I got it but thanks for the information. I will do some research and see what I can make work

That is an option but they sell just the shell. By the time I bought all the parts for the inside it is going to get expensive but thanks for the suggestion. I may have to go this route if I don't find a used one. They don't carry the half cab conversion any longer. They had trouble with the supplier is what they told me.
