Whose gonna be the first biz to make the fender flares that Ford should have put on this ugly duckling ?

Looks like an FJ cruiser to me

I've had the roll down rear window in a 2005 4Runner, 2007 Sequoia, now in my 2005 Tundra, and maybe in a future 2010 Sequoia. I won't buy another car without it. Course I use it more days than not.

When I drive a tundra the roll down rear window was very handy

I liked it in my 4 runner too

We have a 2000 and a 2015 Land Cruiser. Love the fold down tailgate which gets used all the time. I miss the power rear vent windows (pop open like a wing window)in the third row on the 15. It’s so nice for a little more circulation or if you have a wild animal in the back. Hopefully Ford did something, though with the removable top, doubtful.

I've got an acquaintance who I sent that very request to. He makes them for Jeeps. Napier precision products.
Seems it would be crazy simple to reverse engineer.

One of these LUBR guys is bound to create a set of "uncut" fenders for the new one. ;D

It will be exactly the same as when they introduced the retro Stang in 05. Nothing will change. At the end of the day most of us will end up with both old and new at some point. Just like the Stang. I grew up driving my Mom's 69 Stang in highschool and then I owned a brand new 08 Bullitt in 08 and traded it for a 08 GT500 in 10. I own a 77 Bronco Ranger now, and I am sure in a few years ill get ahold of a New style Bronco and probably not keep it like I have the 77. Just like everything else it will be expensive new and cheap used a few years later. Most of us that built/restored our old Bronco's will get tired of the payment of the new one and bored with it despite the aftermarket options. Just bolting on aftermarket stuff isn't the same as restoring a classic.

The people who are into old 4x4s will still want the EB. Because that is their thing. I'm an old vehicle guy, so I understand that mentality.

But other folks (including some big spenders) who got into EBs for various other reasons, will have the new Bronco option. And they are not wedded to old 4x4s. If the new Bronco is to the EB, what the new Wrangler JL is to the earlier Jeeps, then yes some folks are going to go new Bronco.

Especially if the new Bronco can be tricked out and personalized. It's going to be a tougher sell getting some guy to drop 40k on some old Bronco, when he can get a brand new Bronco for that price. One of the reasons the old Jeep hobby is still so nice in terms of prices compared to EBs, is because people can drop big money on the new model. They don't have to throw that money at some old Jeep.

I predict once Ford (finally) introduces the new Bronco, if they do a good job and it's perceived as a worthy successor to the EB, some people will go that route instead of EB. Same way people are fine buying a new Wrangler JL instead of spending on an older version.

Yeah, but old Jeeps hold value, my 2013 Rubi is still worth North of $25,000, amazingly. So I've "only" lost $15,000 value in 8 years, instead of 50% in two. I say this, but in 6 months the way the economy is rolling, everything will take a dive.

Sorry New Bronco, going to be a tough birthing.
