Thats the Legend lime, it is real nice but I want a little less subtle with the color. Was trying to find an example of Baytree green somewhere, it was offered on the Broncos in 75 but have yet to find a picture of one. Its an avacado color but non-metallic (would prefer since I am painting it myself). If I paint this one a green, the Beast will likely get a new rattle can color shortly afterwards. One reason I am kind of shying away from the green is that our Excursion is a similar color, the eddie bauer green. My boys all voted for blue. If I paint this one blue, the Beast will wind up a Boxwood green.

You know its a real mixed bag and I think I ended up with a new stock redesigned driver side and an old stock passenger. They are definitely different and not from the same manufacturer or production. The new stamped driver is really nice, great complete mounting flanges where it meets the upper and the lines are pretty darn close. The passenger side upper flange was half the size it should have been and a little skimpy where it meets the rocker panel as well. It was also a bit wavier than the driver at the upper bend. I'll get it to work but wasnt the most impressed. Driver side I was. It was a lot of work but not as bad as I thought it would be. I would definitely do it again if needed, actually contemplating uncutting the other tub I have in the garage as well, although that one I could get away with just cutting an inch or so in from the seams, cutting the replacement a half inch bigger, then using a flanger all the way around to allow the new panel to fit behind the existing and then plug weld it on and seal it up. I had to replace these completely as there was rust in the seam and a good dent in the corner of 1 side. Had to replace a bottom tail light panel as well.
who did you purchase your sheet metal from?

It was a tough call for me, I like them both. I'd go with the green.

Top will be wimbeldon white, seats will be parchment along with door panels and cage. Havent decided on dash color yet. Probably going to be a tinted bedliner same as paint color for the floors. Trying to keep with light colors to keep the heat down.

Does it have to be a factory color? I really like the dark green that was on the cover of bronco driver last month. Looked great with a white top. You're building pretty much exactly what I'm trying to find - its gonna be great!

Tough call as well for me. Whenever the day comes for paint on mine I'll be torn between the green and blue as well. Originally mine's green so I'm leaning that way, but a slightly darker shade of that blue would look great in my opinion.

I'll vote green for that's probably how I'll go too.

No doesnt have to be stock color but I am trying to stay that direction. I dont need to match any specific year either as this Bronco is a mutt as all mine have been, cast off parts here and there to make a whole one. I dont get Bronco Driver so didnt see the green one. I am a fan of the lighter colors on Broncos, no holly's or midnight blues for me, needs to be bright but not as flashy as Pink! The blue would look killer next to hers! If I do green it would be my Excursion's baby!

Got my aero tank all ready to mount, drilled the holes to bolt it to the frame. I'll probably finish mounting it after I put the body on tomorrow, I want to push it as high as I can but still need to connect the fuel lines, sender and power for the in tank efi pump. Also FINALLY got the stock bushing out of the shackle, ugh, I've been messing with it off and on the past few weeks and finally got it out tonight.

Made another discovery tonight....maybe I am the last one to realize this but the stock hubcaps will fit on just about any steel rim, including the butt ugly chrome modulars that I have on it. Not sure why I decided to try it but I did and they fit right on, actually look even better as the lip around the cap is chrome from the wheel. Only funky thing is that the lip is a little farther out than stock and in the front the hub doesnt line up with the hole for the hub. Just means I can run caps with no open hole on the front as well as the rear.
Wonder why Foose didnt just put the caps OVER the hubs on the front, I think the caps he made would have worked. You would have to take your hubcap off to lock and unlock but that isnt really a big deal I dont think.

Then why not 2010 Mustang Grabber Blue? If you go to the ford dealership to see the color on a stang, you will want it.
