I found a couple spots in the engine bay that were not painted to my satisfaction.

Them engine bays are the hardest part of the truck to paint. It's tough trying to maneuver the paint gun around in there. Good luck with the Que Hank. Very exciting part of the build. Looking good. Ken

One note. I don’t run a gluten free peanut allergy lactose intolerant sensitive household. If anyone has special dietary needs, let me know and I will try to milk some almonds for your coffee

Don’t be bashful folks. I hit the store today for food and beer. I got a little carried away. More than plenty to eat and drink!!!

Countdown clock is ticking. I’m as ready as I can be given all the to do list had to offer. Parts are staged, food is prepped, beer is chillin, lots to do but cranking is very achievable tomorrow. Weather is going to work out for a change.

If you are on the fence, make the trip. Will be a good time for all.

Holy cow.....

the to do list was long when we started but the boys gave it almighty hell for close to 8 hours. we finally got the wiring set around 8. i forgot to tighten two fuel lines that leaked and we missed the starter engage wire. once those were remedied, it cranked!!! it didnt start, but cranked. I have to think about the situation and contact Garry (EFI Guy) to discuss.

i cant express how grateful i am for the able bodied arms and brains that showed up yesterday and gave up a day out of their lives to participate. So much work got done so quickly its amazing. Parts flew out of boxes, some parts disappeared (hey Migs, i found the tubing cutter.....)

thank you all that showed up and pitched in. i cant thank you enough.

hopefully i can deliver a starting engine this week!!!
