no head lights

.. How do I know if it's my head light switch or my Dimmer switch.
But I have no head light after my Bronco has set out side for a year.

.. OR DO I JUST BUY A $9.00 DIMMER switch & put it in & if that doesn't do it then put in the much harder head light switch .
& I KIND OF LIKE HAVING ALL NEW PARTS.

Anytime I've ever had headlight issues it's always been the dimmer switch on the floor.

Are both high and low beam not working??

Have you tested for power in and out of the dimmer switch?

A few minutes with a Test light or voltmeter will save you money on parts.

Test light to the center wire at the dimmer switch.

No I hadn't tested at all.
I just know the last time I drove it at night, They didn't work .. Seemed like one light worked on one dim or bright.

DOES ANYONE SELL A BRASS switch. I used to sell one at my parts store.
But it seems to me like the last time I wanted one .. I believe the only one I found only had brass tips inside it.

Last time my dimmer went out I had to to through go through three to get a good one. One lasted two days and the other was inop right out of the box.
Modern electrical components are a crap shoot at best, now I have to research every single part I buy to try to avoid this kind of problem.

Hazegray that one you posted looks great . Just under the 1st add is an add for the head light switch & DIMMER IN ONE Package . Both seem to be brass.
I believe I'LL Check it out .
