Just called Drew, Everyone they were expecting is there. They did some last minute work on Lou's buggy yesterday and today and are getting ready to head out to try some of the course. Said they spent a bit of time last night watching someone who broke a spindle on one of the obstackes try to get thier rig off the hill. Couple of trucks and a few winches and they finally got it out.

Said he would call back later this evening.

Sorry for the delay in posting. We've been real busy setting up and pre-running and the internet signal is pretty poor at times.

The entire support team is now onsite and at Lou's beck and call! %) ;D

Our trip out was fairly uneventful and we missed almost all the snow. We had about an hours worth though NC.

Trip stats:
2915 miles
46 hours drive time
59 hours total time including fuel, food and rest stops.
7 mpg
$2.70 average fuel price
filled up twice so far, ~200G each time.
Total rig weight 49,055 pounds with full fuel and drivers.

A few quick pics....

Go Lou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!;D

Thanks everyone for supporting Lou. 49,055 is the "official" weight. Horsewpt wins the shirt with a guess of 47,650. If you didn't win you still need a shirt so goto www.oldbroncosrule.com and order one. Who knows it might be worth a mint one day when Lou is a legend like Stroppe or James Duff :)

Jeff needs to buy a whole bunch of raffle tickets now at the Roundup since his luck is changing now :)

Be careful traveling back but I'd stay out west as long as possible. I have no idea where Drew is going to park the Volvo when he does get back. Hopefully his neighbor will dig him out a spot.

hello from the lake bed. It's a balmy 40 here. Rained all night. Our tent flooded last night. Randy dug ditches and got a lot drained this am. Lou was tuning his suspention yesterday. He also went through tech.
It's been a great time so far. Hammer town is HUGE!

If there is anyone on the lake bed or that is in contact with them, that could let me know if Lou recieved the care package I sent down to them. I would sure appriciate it, so far no one has bothered to confirm if everyone hooked up for the hand off.

Thanks
Dan

I initially ordered a short sleeve but after placing my order, thought I shoulda got the long sleeve. I was within a gnats eyelash of jumping back online and ordering the longsleeve in addition, but low and behold....look at me go!;D

Allen, I'll definately buy some extra tickets this year! That is as long as I can keep NGA away from them!!!:p

Can't wait for my shirts to get here! WEEEEEEEEEEE
