Little by little it's getting there. However, I made the mistake of taking a lot of stuff out. Not close to drivable right now.

The entire Drivetrain has been pulled. I will install a nice 351W with the AX-15 behind it.

If anybody needs a decent running 302, come and get it. It's yours.

Since I will not be fully restoring this Bronco, I completely stripped the engine compartment and painted it Black. I am usually Not a fan of this, but it turned out OK.

New Steering Box and Lower Shaft, Power Brake System and other Engine Compartment items will be installed next.

Previously, (Previous Owner Option) the Radiator Brackets were moved down to match the 3" body Lift. I will install a 2" Body Lift and move the Radiator Mounts back to the stock location and have a proper Fan Shroud for the Body Lift.

The list keeps getting longer But I should be back up and running within about a month. Wish me luck....

Been awhile since any updates on this bronco build, but I have shortened the list a little and gotten some items installed.

All the Drive Train is complete and installed.
351W Roller Motor with AX-15 Transmission and Centerforce II Clutch Assembly
New Custom Length Drive Shafts
Rebuilt Dana 20 with JB Fab Twin Sticks
Front and Rear Axles Rebuilt with 4.56 gears TruTrac and axles.

New Brake System:
Complete Front Rebuild with T-bird Calipers
Rear Disc Brake Conversion
Moab Power Brake System with Stainless Brake Lines

The Exhaust System is next and then start and tune Sniper EFI.

I have most of the engine complete. I still have to install the Air Intake hose and also block off the Air Cleaner where the second Snorkel was.

I have a temporary right side exhaust tube installed with the O2 Sensor to get it started and tuned. A Full 2-into-1 exhaust will be installed next week.

I drove it around a little yesterday and today. Very torquey motor and sounds very smooth even with the lack of exhaust.

Progress.

Loaded up and ready to go to exhaust shop.

I also included a picture of the Rear axle with Torque Tamer. It's a pretty slick set-up with the new Bolt On Bracket.

Currently the Truck has the 2 1/2" Springs front and rear and 3" Body Lift. 305/70/17s on a 17X9 Wheel. To me, it's too high. Once the Hard Top is taken off and Soft Top installed it may be even higher in the back. I'm thinking of 2" Body Lift and down to 1 1/2" Springs in the rear. TBD later.

The Front End Caster on this truck turned out very nice.

I have a 2 1/2" Lift, T-Rex Arms and 4* Bushings. Alignment came up with +4.4, and +4.6.

I have not gotten the truck up to highway speed yet, but up to 45mph it's Very nice to drive. (Loud with No exhaust)

rguest, in the picture of the Duffs Torque Tamer. Do I see a pinion guard? I purchased the weld on tamer bracket thinking that the bolt on one would interfear with mounting the Ruff's Tuff pinion guard that I have.
I installed the 2.5" duck tuff lift with 7 degree bushings. Going to the aleignment shop this Saturday. I will share the results.
Your build is coming along nicely, great job.

That is the Ruff Tuff Pinion Guard you see installed. The Pinion Guard is much farther forward and does not interfere with the Torque Tamer Bolt On Bracket.

I got the Exhaust System done today. 2 1/2" 2-into-1 on the Passenger side with one 3" Outlet at stock location.

WH Headers were already in the truck and a Dual Inlet and Single Outlet Gibson (758250S) Superflow Muffler was added. This is by far my favorite exhaust set up in an Early Bronco. Has a nice fit, far away from fuel lines and chassis wire harness, and it sounds great.

I had the alignment checked this morning. The caster came in at 5.7 & 5.9. Back off to the 4 degree bushing or leave in the 7's?

This looks really good. I like the classic 5.8 Ford air cleaner cover.

Gnsteam - These trucks do like Caster. Did the shop say it was too much Caster? How does it drive?

The Air Cleaner is very similar to the Mustang GT 5.0 Air Cleaner. I'll block off the second snorkel and install an air tube to the original Cold Air Intake.

I like the look. Kinda old school. Kinda unique.

The shop said its at the top end of the factory specs. but it drives great. Best driving Bronco I have ever driven. I think I will leave it as is and enjoy the drive.

The list of items left for install in this Bronco is getting a lot shorter.

The Reconfigured Dash is almost done. I will install the new Dash with Centech Harness, Stereo, Push-Button Start and Direct Fit Ididit Tilt Steering Column. The Rear Wiring and Interior Stereo Wiring will have to be finished as well. Once all the interior is complete I am pretty much done........ Oh yea, AMP steps soon too.

Here is a picture a Reconfigured Original 77 Dash. Finished in Satin Black. It will match the Metal Door panels, Roll Bar and Front and Rear bumpers.
