Looking for a little assistance on old/new oil pan. Long story short, I had a coolant leak that ultimately lead to me needing to replace the time chain cover. I've got an old/new duff oil pan that has been sitting on the shelf for years, like when they were in Washington years, and I'm trying to figure out if I can install it with the new timing chain cover. My stock pan has always had issues leaking and since the previous owner had installed some long tube headers the stock dipstick tube has always kind of free floated between the headers. The old/new Duff pan doesn't have anywhere for a dipstick tube so I'm wondering if I can install and relocate the dipstick tube, lokar or another brand, to the timing chain cover or another location? Here are some pictures of the Duff pan that I'm wanting to install. Previous set up was a stock 76 oil pan with a screw in dipstick on the passenger side. Any assistance or direction that could be provided is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete
