I let a burnt out clutch let mine sit for 6 months. In my defense I was collecting parts.I put in a top loader 4 speed. Also had a new set of headers and a 2 into 1 exhaust.
Mine is a 98% road driven and like shifting and the ability to rap the throttle 😁. Don't climb rocks so I didn't need a 435. The old rear exiting glass packs were going to be my first upgrade,8 years ago. Sometimes other things take precedence like disc front, then Hydro boost, etc.
I'm enjoying the crap out of driving it again, trans shiftslike butta, flowmaster Delta 70 sounds good and no fumes with back window up.
Even put the period correct KC,'s back on.

Yep original, torn up a little under driver but rest of front and rear are intact.

very nice rig. How do you like the Flow 70, is it similar to a regular Turbo muffler as far as sound, just a slight rumble or is it more of a Flow 40

2.5 in 3 out ,very hollow sound at idle, pretty loud on acceleration. Not nearly as bad as the glass packs.

4 speed is a straight sw as p ,but it won't help top gear,it just puts the other gears closer together.

Well after 2 carb tear downs the gremlins have left the building,I hope. It would run great till it started bucking, felt fuel related so stuck with my diagnosis till I got that piece, chunk, or flake out of it. With fingers crossed.......
