Anybody installed one of these one piece door window kits from W/H? What mirrors did you use?

I did. After a lot of work it came out nice. Check the glass. The top edge was raw and uneven. Had to have it cleaned up, a risky project on tempered glass.
I used stock Bronco chrome mirrors moved forward a couple of inches.

I love them, I agree with Mark that the cut edges are rough.

I used TJ mirrors with the brackets supplied by the window company, not sure they still supply them or not? They are nice powder coated pieces by the way.

Some people have used the newer land cruiser mirrors as well but you have to do some trimming on the mounting bracket to get them to sit flush.

Mike no longer offers the mirror brackets with his one piece window kit. However, you can find a similar bracket here. These line up pretty good.

How did you clean up the rough edge of the window?

I thought it might be worth walking the junkyard looking for mirrors that mount to the front part of the window kit so no drilling on the door.

I had a glass shop sand and polish the edges. Didn’t get them completely flat but much improved. Ideally done before tempering the glass. Very easy to shatter the tempered glassNot sure why it’s not done by the mfgr it really detracts from the finished process.

Edges of the glass are call "seamed edges" they are not completely sanded or polished. These edges have all the sharp corners removed so they will not cut anything. They are flat and straight.
I am trying to keep this kit affordable and a sanded or polished edge is very costly and cannot be offer for the same price.

I wish this kit offered glass where the metal goes. i am not a big fan of the metal piece, but love the idea of eliminating the vent window.

Fordguy, I moved the mirrors forward. Put some thick backing in place to secure the screws.
Mike, I’m stoked you’re finding another vendor for your glass. It’s worth paying for. I’ll be buying another kit in the next couple of years for my last Bronco project.

For those of you looking at mirrors mounting on the front support, there are a wide selection of UTV mirrors on Ebay that have a very small mounting surface and many different size mirrors that would look great on Bronco's.
