I'm running a 4x4x2 that I put together, had the plastic housing late 70's pump on it. The pump would work when it wanted to, and when you shut it off it would hiss and the fluid would be airated and white/bubbly. I figured the pump was bad so I got a 76 lincoln dual retrun from the J/Y. I just put it on and the pump seems to work alot better that the other one, no growling etc, I shut the truck off and you guessed it, LOOONG HIIIIISSSSSSSSS and I pull the cap, white/bubbly fluid. Did I somehow mess up the box swap? Or is there still that much air in it? It did this after running the truck for 5 mins, spinning the wheel lock to lock.

Turns out the pump is leaking anyway so I guess it wasn't such a good buy.
