Got an early start on my day today, so I installed the oil pan on my 67. Still had a lot of day left, so I pulled out the new quarter panel and tail light housing I've had sitting here for a couple of months. I think it turned out pretty nice, considering I did it myself. Not perfect, but good enough for me. If you recall seeing this thing with the deer tower on it and all the graffiti, you would understand how much better this looks. :) Unfortunately I had a welder malfunction and didn't get all the spot welds in.

You know, these didn't line up either, but I used small nuts, bolts, and washers to draw everything together and welded away. I was surprised it ended up as nice as it did. These had the same typical gap toward the top of the rear portion of the quarter panel.

When you say typical gaps do you mean between the top of the lower quarter panel and the tail light post? I am in the process of doing upper and lower quarters and a tail light post and have a fit issue in that area.
