Spent a couple hours out in the shop tonight. Built this shift lever arm for the c4, hooked up the BC kickdown cable. mounted the Toms twin stick. Starting to come together.

If you read previously in my build back to where I built the tranny cooling lines, I've now changed my mind. Here are pics of before and after. With advice from great members of this site I too didn't feel comfortable with hose clamps near the headers. Here is the fix. Thanks Summit

Rick,
Much better with the stainless lines but remember they will still conduct some heat. A small custom heat shield would still look pretty "cool" i think and keep fluid temps down a bit.

Thanks for the info on the welder.

Looking good!
Can you give me the details on the Summit hoses? I want to replace my old and twisted factory lines.

Later tonight I'll post a mini build thread, fittings, hoses etc. on the tranny setup. It took me a while and it was quite a pain to find all the correct parts to do these lines.

Tranny Cooling line build list

With help from other members on this forum and Summit racing I'll share what I used to build my tranny cooling lines.

Fitting into tranny case
Part # Aer-FBM2111
(2) inverted 1/2"-20 X -6AN $6.25 each

AN fitting
Part # sum-220687B (the B on part indicates color)
(4) 90 degree -6AN Hose Ends $13.95 each (2 @ tranny 2 @ rad cooler)

Radiator cooling fitting
Part # sum-220646B (the B on part indicates color)
(2) 1/8 NPT to -6AN $2.75 each (I have 3row Champion Rad should be same fitting for stock Rad)

Stainless Hose
Part # sum-230615
15 ft. -6AN stainless hose 1000psi rated (cheapest option) $57.91

1/2" O.D. stainless hold downs I ordered through Totally Stainless.com for $2.95 each. Can probably order these through summit as well.

Good luck let me know if you have any questions.

Bought a Raptor lining kit yesterday. Going to start taping off then spray this weekend. Then I can finally mount this pig onto the frame. Does anybody know the weight of a bare tube without front fenders or grill?

looks amazing im about to build my c4 right now and just curious what did u pay for those rims? those are what im lookin for

I traded a buddy for the wheels. The tires are brand new not 1 revolution on them. Unfortunately I can't use either wheel nor tires. Won't fit my uncut. 18" wheels, 35x12.50 tires Toyo M/T they are for sale if you want them.

Spent a couple hours last night sanding the underside of the tub, now ready for the raptor liner. Sanded and buffed out aluminum trim for the grill. Installed and looks pretty good for the old original stuff.

Long night for me and Carson. Finished prep for the undercoat, scratch sanded and then masked the two fenders and entire tub. Wow that's a lot of damn work. Tape Tape and more Tape. Anyhow check out the pics turned out fantastic.
