In the middle of a hydro boost swap. Was gonna go with a ps fluid cooler. What is the better mounting place? In front of the core support for more air or on the front of the fenderwell?

I would think in front of core support would be more effective.
I went low and put mine down by the cross member... (due to space constraints)

On the core support will get you more and cooler air. That is the place.
Only need a cooler coming off the return line on the steering box. Don't need one on the low pressure return line on the hydroboost.

Mines in front of the core support. I used a Vw type oil cooler hung vertically. Just have to be careful with the hose routing so the cooler doesn't drain down on you when you shut the engine down.

Does it make a difference how it's mounted? Was gonna mount it horizontal so I could run the hoses in next to the radiator with 90° fittings without any extra cutting. Already heard to just run off the ps box return. Thanks

I mounted it vertical because my tranny cooler took all of the other side of the radiator.
