Qjet troubles

The qjet is sputtering like it is running out of gas. I checked the electric fuel pump, good with pressure. Checked fuel filter, good and clear. After flushing it it runs good. After several miles it burps like it going to happen again.

I'm thinking bad gas at last fill up but don't really know.

Any ideas?

I have more questions than answers.
What type of fuel filter and where is it located. I'm going to guess it is not in the carb. Can you check fuel pressure and volume before and after filter??? Does it kill or just have no power? Have you looked down the carb(engine off) and worked the accelerator looking for fuel squirting, a full fuel bowl should be able to do this quite a few times. Even pull the top off to see how much is in the bowl. As you mentioned bad fuel could also cause your problem. Is there other reasons you suspect bad fuel?

You may have some trash stuck in the jet ports below the bowl. Might have to remove and disassemble and blow out with carb cleaner..... Have you checked the access plugs on the bottom of the bowl for leakage? I have to JB weld mine about every 2-3 years

when I get bad gas I do a little burp and sputtering too. Even a toxic backfire from time to time. Everybody stand back. You could ship it to Tito. He would FIRE that thing right up.

after all the troubleshooting that I've done, I believe it came down to bad terminal connections on my coil and ignition wiring connections. engine vibration may have shook them loose...
at least I ended up with a cleaned engine and engine bay, along with an overhauled qjet.
