Have an opportunity to pick up some aluminum heads for a very good price because only intake valve broke from a motor being overreved due to a missed shift causing some float.

But,,,, they guy can't find any identifying marks as to what brand they are. About the only clue to this mystery is he said he found not a stamped number but more of a raised relief that said F/N303

I am supposed to look 2:00 hours from now but don't want them if they are el-cheapo's.....

Any idea as to what brand/model that part number might represent?????

I just looked at them, sn3034. I called Trick Flow and Eddie there said that they are earlier models of thier twisted wedge head, -- so knowing a valve job, one new intake valve, one new exhaust valve, finding 3 roto caps that came up missing, cleaning up and smoothing the one combustion chamber and planing 3,000ths off, anyone want to venture a great price to pick these up for? also, throw in the ARP bolts, a sweet like new 302 oil pan, a NIB 302 water pump, and carter high flow mechanical fuel pump. Hope I didn't get bent over Rover,,,

$2 Benjamins. Machinist said "he'd take it easy on me" - who knows with that subjective comment. But, I think like so many of you guys on here, right place at the right time.

2 bones sounds like a smoking deal! Sure, they need a few parts & some time in the shop, but that's not going to be terribly expensive. All that other stuff too? I would put new springs in at that price, get a sweet valve job, have the valve seats & guides checked, stem seals replaced, and you'll still come out way ahead.
