Reinforcing the stock frame

Hey guys,
I'm finishing up my frame repairs today and getting it ready for my final coats of paint.

Does anyone have suggestions on reinforcing spots on the frame while it's all bare? I was thinking about some gussets here and there.

I'll be running a stock 14 F150 power train so it'll have a bit more torque than it was designed for.

Thoughts?

The steering box area and track bar mount are the only places that could use attention. The frame is fully boxed and there really isn't any other known problem areas.

Depending on what type of bumpers you plan to use, boxing the ends or making an insert to attach further into the frame may be a good idea. My tire carrier rear bumper has pinched/squeezed mine a little bit, and I will be adding support in the near future for that.

Looks like the steering box was already reinforced and I just got my WH Trac Bar drop bracket!

That's kind of what I was thinking. Less welding then!

I'm running stock bumpers. I don't need anything too heavy duty. I am running a 2" body lift to clear the power train though. I'll be fabbing some brackets like 5001craig to close the body lift gap. Unlike his though, I'm going to make them bolt on since this will mainly be a road warrior.

The drop bracket puts a lot more load on the frame in that area. If this isn't a streeter suggest looking into the riser for the axle instead.

I considered the riser, but decided it wasn't a necessary expense. Unfortunately this Bronco will rarely see anything other than pavement %)

Then the riser makes a lot more sense than a dropped track bar bracket because it'll improve/keep the stock handling while a dropped track bar bracket will make it worse.
