Any tricks on removing a new windshield and new gasket without cutting the gasket? Worst case I’d rather cut the gasket then harm the new windshield.

Thanks Jeff

No magic wand tricks I know of...work slow and steady, use soapy water, silicone, or something to keep things sliding. I'd start from the inside in a upper corner with a glass stick and start to fold the gasket to the outside of the pinchweld. Work 6 or 12 inches from the corner in both directions a little at a time, easing the corner out first. Keep tapering away from the corner and try to get the whole top part of the gasket pushed to the outside, till you get to the other upper corner....if its not broke yet, you should be about home free.

You have to work over longer distances to NOT break the glass. Starting at the passenger inside corner, pull the top & side of the gasket in toward the glass, and push the glass out. Adding wedges & shims outside to hold your progress will allow you to control how much you bend the glass. Slide the shims away from the corner as you add thicker shims near the corner. The most dangerous moment is when the inner lip of the gasket pops through to the outside, so make sure you have several shims far away before that happens.
