I had the best luck today at the U Pull it yard. 2001 V8 Explorer, the upper intake and transfer case were gone, but in the process someone had already unbolted and left all the items I need. (alt and bracket, power steering and bracket, clutchfan, water pump and timing cover)

I thought I'd be out of there in 30 minutes. %)

I need some advice on removing the bolt for the harmonic ...... at the junk yard. The radiator is gone, so I have full access through the front. The engine is not bolted to the mounts. The crank pulley is still attached as well.

BTW, only hand tools are allowed at the Pull-a-part yard.

Pull the flexplate cover plate and jamb something between the teeth and bellhousing. Then use a long breaker bar and maybe a cheater pipe over it. The pulley and balancer are one piece.
