Got my half cab top the other day! First thing I opened. Haven't cleared the work bench yet

Awesome work by some masters in this thread.
My purchase of about 6 or more of these since I seen they were on the market has me moving towards building a cut halfy.
I pride myself in finding the data I need for the build but evidently I am failing. Where are the flares procured from.

Somebody point me in the right direction, this young man is spending way too much time finding nothing.

Post #69 in this thread has a link to the seller on E-bay, but it looks like he may have sold out. Nothing listed for sale right now. Maybe contact him and ask if he will be listing more soon.

Thanks did that, and yes he has nothing listed. I bought a couple of half cabs from him and the hood he had listed. Shorted me on the hood in the shipment, so says he must of messed up and sent a note saying he sent the hood to me and apologized for the mess up. I will be chatting with him again as soon as I get the hood.

Ranger. That looks really nice. Almost good enough to drive. I think it would be pretty cool to have a bunch of these models at super cel this year and photograph them all together.

So, did you guys spray or brush the frame? I started on my first one, brushed the frame and it looks like crap, all the other pieces I brushed seem ok. Last time I did a model many years ago didn't turn out well, hoping for better this time.

I brushed my frame with Testors gloss black, I'm happy with the way it turned out.

I brushed on another coat and after it sat for a while it smoothed out and looks pretty good. A lot happier now.

Chris is a great guy and I have the hood. He will continue to develop and says his site will be up soon. He has an interest in modeling and probably will have some new stuff I am guessing.

I think this 5th tire for the spare really makes the model. They should have included it with the kit. It glues right on to the spare tire rack like it was meant to be. Thanks again to Skiddy for sending to me.
