What color is that on your seats skiddy?
the blue is testors dark blue gloss that came in a kit of 9 colors. btw I got my tires put on finally
I think this 5th tire for the spare really makes the model. They should have included it with the kit. It glues right on to the spare tire rack like it was meant to be. Thanks again to Skiddy for sending to me.
holy smoke that looks great. your very welcom

I am really becoming obsessed with this model. So after a few "Crowns" I'm thinking about cutting the door glass in half and only keeping the vent windows. 99% of the time I drive the Bronco with the windows down and the top off. I think it might look good with only the vent windows. A sharp razor knife should be able to slice it clean. Anyway, not tonight, what do you guys think?

I like that idea. The doors are detailed enough to appear to have the felt strips at the top. It looks kinda strange with the top off and the windows up....

Removing the door glass but leaving the vent window is a good idea. That's how mine is mostly driven, so I should cut mine too. Your exposed spare wheel/tire sure looks better too. The whole thing looks great.

Here's all the pictures of our models in one post.
Cutting the door glass and using just the vent window was a piece of cake.

That's some nice looking rides....... Mine is finished now unless I decide to put whitewalls on it. I took Phred's advice and got a silver metallic Sharpie for the side trim. It worked great.

Looks great Mark, what did you use for the side marker lights? Also, do the ranger side decals fold under the fenders, they seem a little big?

The side markers got a coat of silver from the Sharpie and then Tamiya Clear Orange and clear red for the lens. Found that stuff at the hobby store.

The decals really put up a fight. They are a bit big. They are not supposed to fold under the fenders so I ended up trimming them around the fender lips with a razor blade after they dried.
