I haven't seen either of these in person so can anyone that has seen them let me know how these compare height wise to f-250 mounts, are they taller? I'm looking at the 12" ruffstuff tower as it just looks beefier than the stamped f250 mounts.

I've decided to go a different route with the shocks and the extreme hoops from toms bronco just aren't tall enough.

also i think someone here was also making a version of the f-250 looking mount that was a little taller but I've searched for it and can't find it. If you know what I'm talking about could you please send me a link.

thanks!

If you cut the original mounts off above the frame rail, you can spread them enough to plug weld the F250 mount inside, then bend the sides of the original back to contact the F250 mount and finish welding. This will give you a taller range of install and reinforce the lower end of the mount. My upper shock eyes just clear the wheel tubs.

If not tall enough get a shorter shock.

Steve is AWS here. Mine mounted as high as I could get them still using the inner fenders.
