A bronco club would be great. I started West Coast Broncos 3 years ago and the most members we were ever to get at one event was 5. I have since moved to Klamath Falls and it is has been even tougher to get some rigs together. I have been out with a local club but there is a lot of heeps.

count me in. I'd like to get out on the trails with some other EBs. sounds like the first meeting could be at Ironbender's place.

I'd be willing to come up from Fresno every now and then. Once a month is no way a possibility.

This sounds like a great way to meet other broncoholics. As of right now, I only have one wheeling buddy and his is a bought (not built) jeep. I don't do anything super extreme, but hopefully will eventually be equipped to.

I'm in! I would have everyone over, but I don't own my own house yet. This fall I will, and will have a BBQ-BEER-BRONCO binger.;D

okay since i started this, ill roll with it....

I notice there are alot of people in different areas so instead of just having the meeting in sac we could roll down to the other areas or up to different areas for the day or even the weekend and hit the trails in there neck of the woods. even do some camping/fishing/rocksmashing trips does that sound intresting ?

Also there are probaly acouple of us like me that are intrested in meeting people with EB that away we can learn why we save to purchase are first one's so is it okay for us to come along to the meetings until we get are eb.... I would say yes just because that what i want out of the club is not to detore any one intrested in EB that away those people can learn about the EB also. ?

What do you all think of those two idea ?

I thought our new annaul meeting was at our camp site at SOB now. We'll have, at current count 6 broncos and 10 people in our group. That's not a bad showing. If we can harass Jack enough to make it, we could adopt him for the weekend to increase the count.

I just need a Bronco to bring to SOB! How about June 26th? The wife will be out of town with the kiddies @ Disneyland, so that is even better. Work for everybody else? If not, the following weekend is fine with me too.

Vexris,

What you have described is exactly what the CA bronco group on Yahoo is. Its a group of neat people that get together 2 to 3 times a year for a BBQ and plan a couple wheeling trips a year.

They just had a BBQ down at Jerry place in San Jose 2 months or so ago and then went to Hollister Hills the next day to wheel. 6 months prior or so Jack hosted a BBQ/tire grooving party at his place in Elk Grove. I believe they tried to put together a snow wheeling trip up to Iron Mtn this past winter, and there is the Fathers Day run on the Rubicon coming up this month.

So what you are talking about doesn't have to be created, it already exists. Go to Lars first post in this thread and he provided the link to sign up to get on the e-mail list.

I guess i was under the assumption that there was some interest in creating an actual club in the Sacramento area.

They probably misunderstood your note and thought you were a Jeep owner with a rainbow sticker on the back and thought you wanted to pick up on them ;D

Are you going to have your bender working? ;D Need some incentive.
As always, If there aren't any last minute work issues I'll make it.

I think there is interest.
But as with Lars, I could be considered by club members as one of those flakes also. Seams like work & family can always get in the way of things. Usually work in my case. So to commit to a structured meeting schedule and everything that comes with a club as described I probably couldn't.
The only thing that is guaranteed in my life is that when problems at work arise I go, heck my wife thinks I'm a flake. I of course am well compensated for this commitment.
As with Baja last year everyone new that I was committed to it, but they also new it would be right up until 2wks before the leave date that everything was ago for me.

Tazz is right, work will mess up a good run. We had a good bunch at SOB last year. It looks like it will a good time again. I have had a group together each year on the Rubicon each June for the last three years but work goofed up things this year. A good eail list would be great but it takes people wanting to send info on trips and runs they want to make ahead of time so the word can be sent out. I have a list now with around 25 people on it but the info comes in so late that it is not working the way it should.

I will add anybody who wants to the list and will send out info out as it comes in. We are working on putting a run together somewhere above Redding in September and want to see if there is some interest.

Arrr. Weekends are hard for me to commit to. Weeknight meetings are easier for me to do. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what pans out.
