thanks, I didn't catch the separate bell housing. I ran a ZF in my EB with a 2" body lift so I assumed it would be easier in a 2nd gen. I didn't find my ZF overly noisy but some are.The biggest advantage to the 4050 over the zf is the separate bell housing. The zf’s is massive and gets in the way of everything under a 2nd gen. Being able to use a stock clutch and flywheel without an adapter is a big plus as well. Since the 4050 also uses atf for lubricant I wonder how noisy it’s is. The zf has pretty bad roll over noise with the thin fluid.
Love the interior and the white hurricane rims, makes me want to look for a new set to run on my rig.
A bumpside ChevyTHAT C10 is super cool!!
Does it run? I didn't think anyone was able to crack the programming yet.
Motech is the key, they have phenomenal capabilities/adaptabilities with engines and transmissions. For my future engine swaps that are not bare bones stock, Motech will be my go to. I’ve had the opportunity to work with it some on a few race cars recently, it is an unbelievably adaptive and flexible system. Had the opportunity to run a GM LS3, Canam Maverick, and an 800hp Pro4 short course truck, all with the same hardware and dash. Made it super simple to monitor anything we wanted and the same driver could go from vehicle to vehicle with the same basic dash layout so in back to back heats he didn’t have to worry about that. Once on a dyno, tuning was a breeze.View attachment 934347
