Hey Everyone,

After a lot of years the '70 is getting close to completion.

It has the heart of moderate trail rig, and the body of a pretty nice street Bronco.

Thinking about changing from the 35" MT Baja Claws which would require cutting to 33" (metric equivalent) MT3s that shouldn't require cutting the fenders.

The plan is to complete this and then see if any buyers are interested in it.

Justin at Wilburn's bought these tires and wheels with the intention of putting them on a half-cab he is building. He was nice enough to fit them up to our Bronco last Saturday.

The thinking is that it would be a lot easier for someone to cut the fenders if they wanted a rig to run the rocks most of the time as opposed to replacing the fenders and repainting.

Anyone care to offer an opinion?

Hopefully only a few weeks away from completion.

Thanks for an opinions.

Jeff

I wouldn’t cut them. Much easier for the buyer to cut them than graft new panels in. Plus it’s just gorgeous like that.

DONT CUT IT!! Like other have said if a buyer wants to go bigger tire let them cut it. Easier to cut it then to add the panel back on.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you all for the input.

Uncut is growing on me... I wasn't a fan at first. It looks pretty clean, and not really out of proportion.

Frenchy, Yes... Grabber Blue.

Thanks again for your input.

Love to see someone keep it original, UNCUT

but in the end it boils down to what you like and what look you want..

Good luck man

One of each? Kidding!!!

It all depends. I want one of each in all seriousness. To me it depends on what your wanting to do with it. Drive it as a 2.5" or lower commuter... the uncut...

3.5" or more lift then cut it.just my .02 I like them both equally.

If you were going to keep it and trail it, I would cut it. But since your intent is to sell, keep it uncut. If you cut it and try to sell you’ll lose half your potential buyers. As others have said, let the buyer decide to cut or leave it uncut.

Very nice looking Bronco, BTW. I’d love to add a LUBR to my collection but my wife would kill me! ;D
