Sourcing 1970 Bronco shift tube

Hello everyone,

I’m new to the forum and I’m trying to get a 1970 Bronco I just bought, back on the road. It is a 3 on the tree and I need a new shift tube. I would like to keep it on the column rather than a floor shift.

Does anyone know of a source for this part, I’m not having any luck finding one.

We had them too for a while, but the source dried up several years ago. Do you still have yours? Maybe somebody can fix it?

Check the classifieds on here, I had one on there for months but it's gone now.

I went through this a few months ago. Near impossible to find so I ended up repairing mine. Northeast Classic Ford Parts (or whatever its called!) is your best bet but it's a $$$ part.

Also try Driven 4x4 Parts in Phoenix. 602-269-3969. Randy has downsized and moved in recent months but he may have something around.

Thank you everyone for the help, I called Steve at Big Sky Bronco’s and he was nice enough to look through his stuff, and he found one for me. We should be back up and shifting through the gears again soon.
