HaHa!!!! JD it's about time!!!! Where you been boy??? April and Super Celebration will be here real soon and I want to see that rig there!!!!;D;D;D

Ben, I have been super busy. Between the twins and the wife, they keep me running ALL the time. BTW....you are not the only one that wants to see my blue heap at Super Celebration. I figured the 50th Anniversary of the Bronco was as good a time as any.

Keep pluggin. I want to see all those parts you won from the Super Celebration mounted and at Townsend in 2016.

Mark, I hate to say this, but I haven't got any of the three items installed yet. I painted the bailie bilt tool trays and was going to install them, but my 4 point roll bar is in the way so that is on hold until I pull it out to build a family cage. I haven't even looked at installing the Biltcool. I did start prepping for the installation of the Hellwig swaybar, but haven't had time to finish. I was too busy trying to work out my wiring gremlins (which I think I have them fixed).

My Bailie Bilt front and rear bumper came in last week. My plan is to test fit them, then pull them back off and get them powder coated. While they are at powder coating, I will try to finish the installation of the sway bar. From what I have seen so far, I think I am going to have to have the sway bar installed before final installation of the front bumper.

Once front bumper is powder coated (or painted) I will install my brand new Warn XD9000i winch.

My buddy Chris, that helped me last year with getting this project back going, is going to help me build a spare tire carrier for the rear bumper. Once that is complete, I will take it to get powder coated (or painted).

I guess yall don't have any suggestions for seats....

I did a test fit on my front and rear bumpers today. I still have to adjust them, especially the rear.

After I get the fit just right, I will pull the front and have it powder coated. Still have to build rear tire carrier. After we get the rear tire carrier built and get everything adjusted, then I will have the rear powder coated.

Just a little Mark. I almost sent you a text last night, but I was busy dealing with the girls. I hope all is well on your side of the state?

Let me know when you will over this way and let's get some lunch.

Lol.... no. The bronco has been back at my place since May 2015. I haven't posted many updates. Time to work on it is slim these days. Most of my time is dedicated to work and my twin girls.

Like your bumpers JDJ. Mine should be coming from Bailie Built soon I hope. You mentioned about powder coating them, is there a place in Dothan that does that?? I was wondering what to do with mine when I get them...It might be a while until I can get the Bronco painted and I WAS going to rattle can them black...

There is a two or three places in the area that powder coat. There is one in Headland AL which is about 5 miles north of dothan on HWY 431 and there is a place in Hartford Al.

Not sure who I am going to use yet. A friend suggested the place in Hartford, but the quote I got over the phone was ridiculous($400). The quote from the place in Headland was about what I was expecting ($125).

Thought about taking the front bumper to Hartford and letting the guy see it in person to see if he could/would do a better price.

Riley Wicker in Ozark also does powder coating. Building is across from the new Loves on 231. No sign on the building.

Bbow,

I ordered my tube from Dan DuBose at Motobilt a few weeks ago. I picked it up Friday 12 Feb 2016. Here is a pic of my bronco loaded up about to pick up my tube and headed to Eufaula.

The other pics are from today. Current progress on the cage. I guess there will be a custom dash or the factory one will be cut. Only time will tell. I hope and pray that my buddy Chris can get the cage done so I can take the bronco to Super Celebration!

Also in the sketch, the shaded portion in the top hoops, will be filled in with plate steel.
