i have a EFI (Speed Density) from a 86 f150 thinking about putting into a Bronco I know the upper intake will have to be changed, but can the harness and stuff from the f150 be used. Had a new in tank fuel pump installed in the f150, could it be adapted to the Bronco tank?

If I am not mistaken (which has happened before and it felt just like this), the in-tank pump on the F150's is a low pressure supply pump, your high pressure pump is on the inside of the frame rail on the passenger side under the door. I am using one of the frame mounted high pressure pumps from an F150 on my MAF EFI system. It is mounted at the rear close to the tank and I ran 3/8" brake line up to the engine along with a 3/16" return brake line and tapped it into one of the vent lines on my stock tank.... works like a champ.

You just need to figure out what your ECM is out of then find the wiring diagram for it. Google is your friend! Autozone has some good diagrams on their site. I just finished up one using an 87 E150 computer and harness. It as basic as they come.

I have everything from the f150. had just put in new fuel pumps, it has the in tank and frame pump and a new engine installed and got hit by an uninsured driver in Jan. so I have the truck. Just trying to use as much as possible so It is not a total loss.
