I like it! Great job hiding your winch where bad guys can't see it.

How do you get to the spool control lever?

Hey, how surprised was I to see my Bronco being talked about this morning as I'm eating my Cheerios!;)

I bought this '66 from Anthony and love it! So despite the "ared77" name I'm really more of "atan66". :) Wow, now that I see it written out, I better stick with the red77 name..... that looks too much like the devil's user name !

Yeah the winch gets MANY positive comments. That and the awesome roll cage (through the dash) get the most attention. He did a great job on it and many other parts of this build.

To move the lever to pull cable out it's just a matter of opening hood and reaching down to lower corner of radiator. Not bad at all.

I'm Norm and live in Central Kentucky. If any of you are ever in this area give me a call. 859-351-8702

Yeah, Crush, I drove through Huntington on my way to pick this up. We met at a truck stop somewhere past Beckly, WV. Maybe we'll see each other sometime at a Bronco event or a car show.

I'll be glad to. Don't have time right now, it's 5:30 am and I've got to go to work in a few minutes. But later today I'll try to learn how to add pics and post some of the winch.

NORM !

I realize there is a cover / skid plate that might hinder doing so.....but when you take pics............I'm interested to know how much clearance there is between bottom of radiator and the winch.

Thank you so much !

OK, I've now become a contributor, and taken a few pics. Have to stop again for an hour or two. When I get back I'll try to get the pics on here. If I was about 8 years old I'd have already figured this out by now.

Rox, I tried. These may help, but may be too poor to see.

I can tell you that it appears to me that the top edge of winch is right at bottom of radiator. I think...without taking it apart it's hard for me to say for certain.

Bottom of skid plate
