Picking colors for my 74. Leaning toward the GM Sunburst Orange.

Anyone done one in that color? If so have any pictures to share?

I found this one online. I'm 90% sure its the color I'm thinking about. My end goal is basically that look but with black wheels and a soft top.

Excellent choice. It would look great.

If I ever repaint, I've always wanted Daytona Sunset Orange, which is close.

Funny enough, i've been collecting orange pics too for my orange '74.

I was first big on J**P 'mango tango'.. but then started really digging Copperhead. See pic of side by side (Copperhead on right). apologies for posting a j**p pic, but i haven't seen it on an EB yet.

Recently, someone posted Honda's 'Redline Orange' .. seems like a nice deep color too. Bronco pic posted

I think i'd be happy with Sunburst, Redline, or Copperhead.. and will likely come down to if there are significant cost differences. I'd like to paint my engine bay while my body is off.. so I need to decide here soon.

I've always liked that copperhead color since Stacy David did the C10 years ago on one of those truck tv shows.

My phone's camera really doesn't capture the color. This is a Dodge prowler flame orange pearlcoat. Brand code 61930. I believe my motivation was the exact Bronco you have in your picture. It was in a YouTube video listed for sale.

All of these are great! Keep them coming

What color is your grill? That’s what I’d like to do also. Some sort of grey?

It's the factory Ford Argent Silver. I don't have the paint code but your auto paint store can look it up.

Funny how inspiration strikes.. yours and 'agduckhunter' inspired my choice in color.. I still plan to fab up some n-fab inspired nerf bars like he built.

Well it has been decided.

I was torn between a few colors on the PPG color cards. So many choices its mind numbing. The guy that's going to do the paint for me read my mind and blended something up based on what I liked between a few choices.

He finished the dash for me early so I could get the wiring project and dakota digital installed prior to the rest of it being painted.

He knocked it out of the park as to what I wanted. I'm very happy with how its looking
