My son Greyson and I just pulled in to my in-law's NE GA's mountain house from the Super Celebration. Man, what a growing event! There were so many new Broncos there and a lot of ol' friends too (over 150 EBs registered and plenty of big Broncos and Bronco IIs in the mix).

My son (and I) were stoked to take home the LUBER award for our '73! A week ago it had no motor or clutch in it and the paint was 10 years dull, but we put in a hard week (with a lot of help from phred) and we made the trip without a hitch and brought home an award ;D

The weather was great (sunny and warm on Friday, light drizzle this morning for a couple of hours and sunny and mild (upper 60s/low 70s) this afternoon). A perfect weather weekend.

I will post photos soon.

Had a great time. There were a ton of Broncos this year. I met a lot of nice people this year, and saw a lot that I met last year.

Was happy that there was more parts for sale as well. Found some great deals. (Yes, I'm loving my nice $50 grill)

Well if you got in at 3, I guess I would still be on the road. Many inches to go. Looked like a good time, I missed it.

We got home safe this afternoon. As always a great event and getting better every year. What a turnout when you can put 150 Broncos together and not one rock buggy or mud slinger in sight, it reminds us where the roots are behind our love of these trucks.
To see some of the people we all know from other places and events that you know have very capable trail rigs but also pride therselves in having a nice restored classic to cruise around in on other days......CONGRATS to all.
Greg, Steven, Karl, Gary, Randy, and many more I know I'm forgetting.
Wife & I are always amazed at how many come over and look at the underpinnings and parts on her
Bronco II and the amount of Big Broncos this year also. After seeing plates from Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, it seems they need an award for longest distance;D
Bax, be careful! Be very careful there was some mention about some covert work from NGA.........:-X

Andy,

I didn't even read the sign! I had no idea that the Stroppe was yours!! Absolutely gorgeous! I talked and talked about that Bronco.

Nice to see you all there. I am not sure my EB was worthy after seeing all the good ones there, but it was awesome drving down the road and seeing all theose Broncos in front and in the rear view. I got rid of a couple parts, bought some new ones, and had a blast. See you all next year!! I have all year to make my Bronco a little nicer for next time. :)
