Thanks for a job well done in a world where customer service sucks

Just a quick thank you to Wild Horses and their phenomenal customer service. The item isnt the story, the service is.

I bought said product and had a discrepancy in measurements between a right and left side that i assumed would be the same but was not. I called and was inquiring if this was normal or a design flaw. The gentleman said he didnt know and i gave him my measurements. He then proceeded to put me on hold and measure several of his in stock items and we compared notes.

The point is, this wasn’t necessary for him to do this, the often easy anwser in todays age of customer service would be to tell me the customer its my fault or i messed up or something along the lines that seperates him/her from any responsibility or further action on their part.

This absolutely was refreshing to have someone care about my insignificant problem in the grand scheme of things and try to help me out.

This to me is what builds brand loyalty .

I will always give my business to wild horses if they have what i need.

Again, thanks!

Not to take anything away from WH, but i sure think we have a handful of amazingly good EB specific vendors. Family owned that devote their lives to our community and to their business.... Being a small business is a very tough thing to do.

Wild Horses has alway gone the extra mile for me, and I will continue to support them... (It helps that they are a 2 hr drive away ;)) Most of the other Bronco Vendors also have pretty good track records, but as said above "Being a small business is a very tough thing to do." Having good Customer Service will make or break you in todays world.

Yes, other vendors that I have had great service with over the years... Tom's, Duffs, Bronco Graveyard.

I have always had great experiences with WH. Years ago I bought a Dana 44 housing from them and wanted to pick it up on a Saturday since I would be near Lodi for my daughter's competition. I didn't know they were not open on weekends and Jim opened up and showed us around. My wife was able to sit in some of the seats so we could choose which ones we want, and got to see/play with all of the other things that keep separating my money from me, lol. Had a great time, and Jim was very nice to us. Planned to attend the Bronco Roundup this year, but a Vegas trip the Monday after gets in the way, so hopefully next year.

Too bad for the timing.
But hey, Vegas is almost a straight-ish shot from our second day event in Sacramento.
Can you say “scenic route“ by any chance? :)

What’s a few extra hours in the saddle among friends…

I agree that Wild Horses has excellent customer service. I recently purchased a LED bulb set for my instrument cluster. One of the turn signal bulbs wouldn't work and after diagnosis figured it had to be a bad bulb. I called up Customer service and explained my problem. They shipped a bulb that day, I received it in a couple of days, popped it in and it worked, great service!

Morgan (WH) called me today... I was driving so didn't pick up but saw it was from Wild Horses.

Morgan called to follow up on a year-old backorder that I already figured was not going to be placed because of a parts vendor issue, I pretty much knew the part was discontinued. Anyhoo, Morgan called today, left a message and followed up with an email letting me know the part was definitely no longer available. How cool is that!

They run a good operation for sure.
Jim has called me before to let me know that some of my parts were back ordered, how long they'd take to get, and to ensure that I still wanted to keep the parts on order.
I greatly appreciated that (and the parts didn't take that long to come in anyhow).
Good and honest people.

Will do, thanks!

And to all who have posted, on behalf of everyone at WH that works so hard to keep the wheels turning smoothly, thanks for all the kind words everyone.

Somewhere in the background might be someone who is thinking, hey that wasn’t my experience. Hopefully not, but if so we’ll always try to smooth those out the best we can as well!

Thanks everyone.

Hey Morgan, nice avatar. Looks like a familiar location.
So are we going to have a Build-a-Bronco session at next month's Roundup? Get customers pre-registered to help with the build and we supply the pizza and tacos?
Sounds like fun to me!

I couldn't find a thread dedicated to the vendors that do well, but this one came up after I searched. I know that as a community we are blessed with many good vendors, and the standard is such that if they don't do right, they won't last,
That said, I wanted to publicly acknowledge that JBG did right to correct items lost in shipping that sucked for me, but were no fault of theirs. Shipping to Canada is always a pain, and I wish all the vendors would use USPS more cause I HATE UPS, but JBG made it right on their dime, for parts that UPS lost, and I think that's awesome.
I have yet to have had a bad experience buying bronco parts, I have been buying for 20 years, and I have bought from all of the vendors, but this time, JBG nailed it.
Thank you.
BTW, my stock '74 is now a Lubr, and looks fantastic. Hopefully get pics up this weekend!

That’s a great report sport! Thanks for giving them a shout out.
Sorry your delivery got so messed up, but glad it worked out in the end. Or at least I hope so, if you’ve already received the replacements?
If not, we’re all crossing our fingers!
