I got my cage fully welded in this week. As mentioned above, I opted to eliminate the dash bar by miter 90 the front down tubes to the flat plate. I have also decided to run the dash, and it all ties together well. It all came out good and I am happy with it. I spent many hours pipe fitting, and I added in gussett. It was probably 16 hours to fit it all and tack it, and another 2 hours to get it all welded in fully. But I don't exactly work "fast."
I had an issue with mine, as one of the front legs was not bent just right or it has an incorrect tweak to it. This is probably something I will only notice since I installed it, but it definitely had an incorrect degree off somewhere. The two sides don't match up perfectly, pretty minor, but it is there.
