Too Much Green?

Lately I've been wondering if there is too much green on the Bronco and what direction I could go to break it up. The paint quality is amazing but I've always wondered if I screwed up by not doing a two tone grill. The FORD letters in silver made a huge addition to the back end and Im very happy with how that turned out. There's just something about the front end that's not sitting right with me and I can't put my finger on the fix.

Paint/vinyl wrap the grill in silver? Hood decals? Side stripes?
Add grill trim back on?
Paint the headlight rings to match or go back to stainless? Satin silver now
Remove the grill letters or change color?
Change the bumper color? Back to stock bumpers?

What would you do? Open to any and all suggestions!

Grille Argent and put the grille trim back on. That’s my vote! ;D

What we got here is a first world problem of the first order ;D

But...if you like the silver Ford letters out back, and you want to try a small and easily fixed change up front, you might want to go with chrome headlight bezels and the red Ford letters. Might give it a little bit more pop?

What are your mirrors and side marker bezels and door handles - are they satin finish or chrome? Should try to be consistent all the way round too.

But it's a beauty as it sits now!

I'd go slow. I'm a huge fan of argent grilles. Always have been. But some mono-tone grilles just work. And yours is one of those.

I think the radiator really highlights something (for good or bad) behind it, but the color is good with the green. I also think the letters could be a different hue. Maybe chrome would look better there with some other kind of highlight int he middle. The red of the originals was very complimentary of most body colors. Maybe temporarily paint them amber like the turn signals? Or use clear turn signal lenses to really mess things up!

I always like the grille trim too, but not sure whether the chrome is appropriate or not.
Actually, I have an alternative idea as well. Change the color of the bumper.
That black is perfect for your body color, and the tires are black of course, but a different color on the bumper and FORD letters might be your ticket. Maybe just the right silver or gray color for the bumpers would be the highlight you're looking for.

Or one of the hammer-tones perhaps, or that other multi-tone coating (not hammer, but something else and I'll think of it) like the one Trailmaster used on their old suspension products in the '90's. Silver and Black in one coating. The hammertones seem to have more of the opposite color and less of the black, but the Silver Vein (that's what it was called!) had more black than silver, or close to equal and to me they looked better than the hammer tones.

Something to think about. But don't be in a hurry. Use some software to get some combinations on your computer before pulling the trigger.

Clear turn signal lenses. Subtle but might look good. Easy to change back.
Looks great. Like the color.

I think if you take a picture of the front and take a silver marker and draw in the chrome trim.Maybe even do the trim in satin to match the headlight rings. Then take a red and do the ford letters. If it don't work for you color in the whole grill. If you do the whole grill you would need to do chrome head light rings and red chrome letters I also vote to keep the amber lights. Also some cool fog lights might help the bumper. The bronco looks great to me but I do see were you are coming from on the front. That's a bronco I would be proud of to say the least.JMO

Too monochrome for my liking. If it was my rig, I would....

A) paint the grill silver, add "red" ford letters and change the satin silver trim (bronco script logo, rear view mirrors and headlight bezels) to chrome and add chrome tail light bezels to match the other trim.

-or-

B) paint the grill silver, add "red" ford letters and add satin silver trim to light bezels to match the other trim.

It's only money, green money.

It looks pretty sweet bro, find another way to spend 500 bucks on your bronco. Haaa
Argent or black grill google has a bunch of pictures of both green bronco with argent or black grill
I bet I’d you just did the ford letters with the red insert on the grill that would pop

I’d echo it looks pretty good, so I wouldn’t move fast or drastic. My first thought is silver bumpers to complement your silver letters and accents everywhere else. Might even try plasti-coat first to confirm you like it? I think I would leave the grill letters alone as a silver bumper would pull them out the way they are. Don’t think I’d go red anyway. Argent grill could look ok, but then you would need to leave the bumpers black. If you did the grill, I’d try body color inside the front letters. I would maybe be tempted to do a small, silver “shadow” stripe around the base of the raised section of hood, tapered to a point in the back. But I think that might necessitate matching rocker stripes to tie it together and it looks too good to mess with already!

All I can say is the FIRST cosmetic thing I did to my '68 Bronco back in July of '76 (owned it about 3 weeks) is paint that ugly Argent grill... Sorry Paul... lol
