You are going to want all that stuff in there along with your tie rod and drag link or at least a broomstick on your knuckles, etc so you know where it will be to match the angle/oscillation with the track bar. You also want to be careful on how tall it is otherwise it might get stuffed into the frame. I think mine is ~ 6". You could go large and then cut it down if you need to weld it on now, just dont drill the hole yet for the bolt/stud.

There's no one-size-fits all solution. How high the riser needs to be depends on your rig's specific suspension lift and steering geometry. The WH riser is nice because it has several different holes you can choose from, then you just lop off the top-most holes you don't use. If you have the skill to fabricate your own, you just need to get it the correct height for the track bar to be in phase with the drag link. But its unlikely anyone can give you a definite measurement to use that will be optimal for your specific rig unless theirs is set up the same as yours with regards to suspension and steering geometry.

If you are using a full width front axle from a F series or full size Bronco the WH riser nor the ones that I sell will fit. The full size mounting is different and is cast making it harder to weld to. I make 2 different size risers, a short one for 3.5" lift and a taller one for 4.5" lift. I don't know of any being made for full width axles. It's great to see young guys taking an interest in the older stuff. Good Luck

Wow... enjoy it while you can! You might not have this much free time again until retirement! In the 14 years since I graduated HS, I think I've had no more than 3 weeks at a time away from my responsibilities...
