The auto transmission just went on my 1975 Bronco where there is no forward or reverse engagement, does anyone have a transmission shop recommendation in the Detroit area? Appreciate any feedback.

Check fluid level. Often the vacuum modulator will spring a leak and the engine vacuum will suck the transmission too low to engage.

Make sure your transfer case isn't in neutral.

Make sure your transfer case isn't in neutral.

A lot of people did a transmission rebuild when the transfer case just walking into neutral is all that it was.
