Anyone have experience good/bad with the JBG and/or JB Fab twin stick conversions for the "T" shift transfer case? These two seem the best built, at least by looking at the the online pics, however the JBG unit is significantly more $. Thanks in advance...

I put in the JB fab a month ago and like them. Did the order on line and got them in a few days very nicely made and easy to install. But I do have a 2" body lift.

i actually got mine from WestCoastBronco, and i found they sell the JB Fab ones so it is the same. i really like that one it is easy to install and i really like that they use heim joints, makes it super easy to adjust. I have no body lift on mine and i was still able to get it in, a few screws may give you aa fight but its well worth it, and it comes with the boot as well most places charge an extra $25.. i would go with the JB Fab. IMO

I have the JB Fab twin stick on my J-shift. Nice product. I'd use it again. Also if you're running an NP435, Jon has really nice billet matching knobs for the twin stick and 435 shifters.

Jon will also bend the shifters if you need them at a certain angle like I did. Pretty sweet.

I agree, I used the JB Fab shifters on my j-shift without a body lift. You may want to cut a larger hole in the tunnel and make an access cover to help with installation. I did this and it alows me to drop the trans and t-case without having to remove the shifters.

You guys just convinced me, darn peer pressure. I placed my order. Do I need to pull the transfer case to install this in a T style with a 2" body lift?

no no need to drop the transfer case, espically with a 2 inch body lift. just a few bolts to unscrew and you are there very easy.

Isn't there an internal mod you need to do to one of the shift rails in order to get the twin sticks to work correctly for the T-style? Can you pull the shift rails with the t-case in the truck?

Work correctly? No.
Add the benefit of FWD only like with the J-shirt? Yes
And yes it involves pulling the shift rail and grinding notches in them.
Not sure if it can be done with the t-case installed.

I think the mod you are talking about for the T-case, is the ability to run front and rear wheels indepently of each other. (i.e. being able to shift to only 2W front hi or low, or 2 wheel rear hi or low) for that mod yes you need to pull the case and take out the dent pills or mod the shift rails. but just to be able to shift to the regular 2 low 2 high 4 high and 4 low, you only need to install the twin stick, it acts just like the stock t shifter just easier to tell what gear you are in and easier to engage, the j-shift is eaiser you get the added bonus of getting independently front and rear shifting but the T-case as a little lower range.

Well the only way is to remove the front rail. To get that out you need to remove the countergear/shaft and the front shift fork.
