WH Delphi Dual Return Pump on 5.0L?

Howdy folks,
Does anyone know if the Wild Horses Delphi dual return pump (part number 2012A) will work with their A/C delete 5.0L kit that comes with a Saginaw/Delphi pump? (part number 2021)

The Bronco Gods are not smiling on me this weekend. Finished my EFI upgrade and just working out a few kinks like throttle return springs and stuff like that.

Yesterday eve the hydroboost pedal response and the steering didn't feel quite right, so I put the front end on stands and went lock to lock again. Seemed to work out a little bit of air, but not much.

This morning, out of nowhere, my serpentine squealed like a pig under a gate for about a second and then whatever it was freed up and all seemed okay, except for the smoke cloud it left. Went for a test drive and something is definitely wrong w/ the power steering and brake boost. I am assuming the pump has gone belly up and don't know how to test it.

Oh well, at least it is running and changing the pump won't be all that difficult.

Cheers, Bill

almost sounds like the lines to the steering box are reversed;)
Hey Metal, I wish it were that simple. Naw man, it has been running for days.....no problemo. Been working on little things like the idle not being quite right, but the hydro-power steering setup has been like it is for the past few years and was the one system on this rebuild I felt would bolt right back in, and it did.

The pump is 8 years old, so I don't feel all that bad about having to replace it. I'll do a little more poking around and test start it tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure it is toast. The whole lock-up thing this morning came outta nowhere. Might have had some trash in the system, I dunno. Power steering and brakes have been perfect until that happened.

Thanks for the feedback! B2

Thanks Hank! That is a good sign. I'm going to give them a call in the morning before I order, but that is the direction I am heading.

Cheers, B2
