Sorry but my vote was in 1978 dollars at 2900 dollars for a almost new 74 with 10,000 miles on it.

3,000.00 in 1997 dollars, prolly 3,000 more in parts, and god only know(cause I do not care) how much time. The only time better spent is on the golf course ;)<br><br>Dan

I've owned 3 in the last 20 years, and they were all under a grand...I paid 900.00 for the one I have now, and put 22k so far, not counting what I put into it before I started the frame off resto...

I paid $1250 for my 1976 because the guy who had it was jeep guy and didn't know what he had he could of gotten about $5K for it if had just looked in the paper before placed the ad. good for me though. it was the the best money my wife has ever spent on me.

First one was $400 for a '75 Ranger in '90. Drove it for 2 years just like that.<br>2nd was $800 for a '71 in '98. This is the trail rig I'm rebuilding now.<br>3rd was $275 for a '74 in '01. Added about $600 of junkyard parts and it drives great.<br>4th was $400 for an original, rust free '66 Roadster in '01. That one was body tub only. Hope to restomod this one to near original exterior, with major drive train mods.<br>Joe

4K in 2001,Canadian funds. That is about 2500 U.S., a steal considering how rare they are up here.

I bought it this spring and there were several people who looked at it before me and passed it up because it looked rough. Turns out the paint just needed stripped and repainted. ;D
