Just ordered Corbeau Sport heated seats and I am wondering what switch I need to install to control the heat with. Anyone have any ideas?

I believe they supply, or suppose to supply a switch that plugs into the heaters wiring harness.

kent wash.
The heated seats should run off a relay. The on/off/hi-lo switch is probley built into the seats and a wire runs back to the relay,or something like that. It probley comes with a stand alone harrness.

I bought a seat heater kit and it has a realy nice harrness that came with it.

While I simply hate my BMW 318 total piece of shat-- no-thank you to TZ but I digress-- the heated seat switches on the mid 90's BMW is a nice simple square hole with a light for the hi or lo position. Dont ever buy one of these piles of shat-- get a honda for a driver!

I recently upgraded my buggy seats with a kit from PRP Seats at www.prpseats.com.

The kit came with two heated panels, switches, and wire loom. The switch was a small round three position rocker and the wires were 14awg that wired in with a 15amp fuse. No relays were in the kit, and the heaters work fantastic. Hopefully your Corbeau heaters are low amperage like the PRP seat heaters. Good luck.

That's a good idea. I guess, as long as it can handle the load, everything would work properly.

I was originally thinking about using an on/off/on toggle switch but it didn't feel right. The Wiper switch would "fit" as long as it can handle the load.

Just use a couple relays to take the load and the switch should be fine.
